Former students still reach out to me and I’m still humbled and flattered of their words. In addition of teaching content, it’s about setting an optimistic rapport and to see these young adults grow to into positive, independent, and confident people. @KHS_Chiefs
A little sneak peak of our KHS Class of 2025 Aerial Photo!
Thank you @pkrekorian for flying, @gilvis2000 for taking pics from the plane, and Mr. Ferris for taking pics with his drone! @KHS_Chiefs@KempsAcademy
Special thanks to Kempsville High School for giving me the opportunity to take take aerial photos of this year’s Senior Class! Grateful and lucky to have Mr. Paul Krekorian, an extraordinary pilot and former science colleague, who recently retired.
Kempsville High School Oceanography students explain the process of reef formation and why conservation efforts are crucial for environmental, economic, and social reasons.

KHS Oceanography students demonstrated and explained the purpose of the “drops of water on a penny” lab is to demonstrate surface tension and cohesion in water.
#kempsvillehighoceanography
KHS Oceanography students explore the concepts of buoyancy and density. Creating “tin foil boats,” they were able to demonstrate how objects float or sink depending on the relationship between their weight and the water they displace.
