Dear Aethirians,

As you may know, we had discovered some bottlenecks with our checker node service from June 28 to June 30, 2024.

As such, we had turned on grace period mode to resolve these issues. We have successfully identified the services that were causing a bottleneck to the relaying of messages between the nodes and our servers.

As we draw closer to the end of the grace period, on 25th June UTC 11:59:59pm, we noticed many nodes have not been updated to the most current versions, and are therefore not able to be picked up by our network. For those who are looking for instructions to update their checker node versions, please follow instructions here: https://t.co/Lfj1yBcCyr. Please note that after the grace period ends, users must run the most updated checker client to earn rewards.

Should you continue to face issues related to the checker nodes, please do check with your NaaS providers first, but don’t hesitate to contact us as well. Please provide your checker license numbers, wallet addresses, and screenshots with any issues that you are experiencing.

We are consistently working with all NaaS providers to ensure they are meeting our service standards, to ensure the checker license holders can be rewarded fairly.

Finally, all users who were below the average amount of tasks from dates 6/28/24 - 6/30/24, due to network congestion, will be credited vATH up to the average earned amount (31.43 ATH) in each of those 3 days. These rewards are distributed from Aethir Foundation to thank users for their patience during these times of network congestion, via the checker portal.
