We Indian Muslims are hated by some munafiqeen in Pakistan almost as much as we are hated by the kuffar of Hind.
Frankly, I do not concern myself with what the kuffar think. My address is to the Muslim world.
I have no interest in dividing the Ummah along colonial borders. Despite everything we face, we Indian Muslims do not see ourselves as victims, nor do we wish to migrate to Pakistan, Bangladesh or anywhere else. If forced into such a situation, we would rather stand our ground than leave.
This has nothing to do with nationalism, patriotism or proving loyalty to a state. It is about refusing to normalize retreat. If one of the world's largest Muslim communities can be pushed out of its homeland, the implications extend far beyond India. It sends a message far beyond the borders that Muslims can be pressured into abandoning their homes, history and presence whenever the balance of power turns against them.
This is precisely why the Palestinian struggle resonates far beyond Palestine. It is not merely about land, but about refusing to normalize displacement as the expected outcome of weakness. If that principle is accepted in one place, it becomes easier to accept elsewhere.
That is why we choose to remain here, not because we worship the nation state, but because surrendering ground can be more consequential than losing a battle.
"We declare our right on this earth. To be a Muslim, to be a human being, to be respected as a human being, to be given the rights of human being, in this society, on this earth, in this day which we intend to bring into existence by any means necessary." — Malik el-Shabazz (Malcolm X)
While Hindus are busy dancing in the streets of the West for Instagram reels, damaging the country's reputation abroad, harassing tourists at home and lynxhing us, Muslims are busy trying to improve the country's image, protect women and save lives. We're not the same, bro. 🥀
Allah made you human beings, endowed with conscience, 'aql and intellect. If you reduce yourselves to mere creatures driven by instinct and call yourselves cockroaches, you're degrading yourselves. Remember, Allah does not love those who debase and humiliate themselves.
Removing Muslims would not automatically create harmony among Hindus. Long before Hindu-Muslim tensions existed in their current form, Hindus were divided along lines of caste, subcaste, region, language and sect.
If Muslims disappeared tomorrow, the hatred would not simply vanish with them. A society that has developed a habit of defining itself against an enemy does not become united overnight when that enemy is gone. The hostility would likely be redirected elsewhere and existing internal divisions would become more prominent.
The problem is not the presence of Muslims, but the cultivation of hatred itself, and hatred is rarely satisfied. It constantly seeks new targets. If it is not confronted and restrained, it moves from one community to another, creating new fault lines and new conflicts.
This is the conscience many Hindus in India lack. Let me share the context.
A Sikh murdered a British student six months ago and has now been sentenced to life imprisonment. Sikhs across the UK are condemning the act, distancing themselves from the convicted man and apologising. In response, many Britons are telling them they have nothing to apologise for. The murderer is responsible, not the Sikh community.
Now imagine the same case in India, except the perpetrator is Muslim and the victim is Hindu. The entire Muslim community would be expected to apologise, condemn the act, explain itself and answer for the actions of one man.
The difference is that many Britons see an individual criminal, but in India, Hindus would treat it as the responsibility of an entire community.

Please understand that Indian Muslims are already navigating a difficult environment. The consequences of even minor controversies can be severe, affecting livelihoods, careers, reputations and personal safety. These are not costs borne by individuals alone, they can affect families and communities that have spent generations building whatever measure of stability and security they could under the circumstances.
If you're engaging with posts about Indian Muslims or with posts made by Indian Muslims, please be mindful of what you say. In principle, we should not be held responsible for the words of others. In practice, however, that is not the case. Comments left under our posts can be used against us, regardless of whether we agree with them or have any control over them.
Please exercise restraint, think carefully before commenting and be conscious of the consequences that your words may have for people who must live with the conditions on the ground.
Thank you.
Muslims are the easiest scapegoat in the country. The moment a naive Muslim joins one of these ineffective, directionless protests that does nothing to address the actual issues facing the community, they're putting themselves at risk for no reason. Stay away.
Have you noticed that when women from any culture choose to dress modestly, they often cover their hair first? The headscarf has long been an expression of modesty.
This is exactly what Allah commanded Muslim women to do. The more you reflect on it, the more you see His wisdom.
These people are serial offenders and the world has witnessed their repeated acts of molestation, harassment and sexual assault against women. They are deeply misogynistic individuals whose idea of obtaining a woman is through force.
Their religion is essentially a cheap copy of Islam. We wear ihram during our pilgrimage, they copied it and wear angavastram during theirs. We have udhiyah, they copied it and made bali. We have Zamzam, they copied it and made Gangajal. We perform halq as part of our pilgrimage, they copied it and called it mundan.
Religion so GOATED that people say it's only 1,400 years old, yet it eradicated tribalism completely within a few decades. Meanwhile, a religion that's supposedly 5,000 years old is still struggling with casteism 😭😭
