Pete needs to accept that this offseason didn’t go as he expected, go back to the Mets, forget this ordeal, have a great season, get a new agent, and focus on the future.

The longer this drags on, the more I'm realizing Pete Alonso may not be coming back.

He very clearly wants to be a Met. He's succeeded as a Met. The fans (most of them) want him back. And there's not really a "no-brainer" replacement available.
