This afternoon we are joined by 17 schools who are part of our original testing group for our Big Education School Diagnostic

Another great year for Year 11 students and their GCSE results at Wapping High.. congratulations and the very best of good to luck to everyone in this amazing year group! Mr Nelson.
With everyone's hard work at Wapping High, we have so much to be very proud of this year.
Thank you team and our UK and international partner schools for helping us all keep the faith that we'll emerge from all this into something special.
Happy Easter everyone! @WappingHigh

Local Authorities in the Tier 4 areas tried to close schools to protect families this week! @GavinWilliamson and @educationgovuk sent their lawyers in to keep them open!! Now this... on the day after schools closed. I will never forget and I hope millions others don’t either!

The late Christopher Reeve said ‘A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.’
There's nothing ordinary about the team at Wapping High school and to all the heroic staff in every school.. #WappingHigh
Given the stress that the Secretary of State has put on schools to stay open regardless of their Covid infection challenges, this is nothing less than astonishing and with virtually no time to plan required actions too, it is a national disgrace.. https://t.co/7hdLQbrQYv
My thoughts are with heads over the coming few weeks. Keeping schools open is the right decision, but the logistical challenges will be immense as they inevitably find themselves managing operations with fewer teachers and support staff. Remember that all you can do is your best.
@JonPalmer82@WappingHigh And well done to you and your progress and achievement team Jon, for all your continuing commitment to Wapping High’s amazing learners @WappingHigh
So proud to be part of the teaching profession. Well done to all those teachers who still created a half term full of great learning experiences in spite of bubbles, social distancing and rarely getting to teach in specialist classrooms.
I’m so very proud of all the fantastic, hard working staff at Wapping High School. They’ve been amazing all term and have been truly inspirational in their determination to do all they can to keep our students learning and safe in these most challenging of times. #WappingHigh
@RMacfarlaneEdu explodes the myth that exams are fairer for disadvantaged students. High stakes, high stress exams are far harder to navigate if you live in poverty or have a fragile home life. Assessment that is more ongoing allows strengths to come out. https://t.co/NyXNsalzuT
Great new blog from Rachel Macfarlane highlighting the unfairness at the heart of the exam regime for the most disadvantaged: @RMacfarlaneEdu; @tes; @LNassey; @AKMPeterson;
