I still remember when some people got upset about David Corenswet saying he’d like to explore an uncle nephew relationship between Superman and Robin before his relationship with his son(s), but uh… yeah I’m also part of that agenda.

Superman and Robin simply bounce off of each other so much and it truly has nothing to do with them both butting heads with Batman sometimes but really just who they are as people and how they can relate to one another with shared experiences and struggles.

Truly if Dick Grayson was treated more like a Superman character than a Batman character, he would benefit SO much from that! More than Jon Kent has imo…

@Circusbirdboy Nope. Barbara was just shoehorned into history as Nightwing. She was originally just a puppy crush that he outgrew. It was Starfire who made a huge impact and helped him become Nightwing.

It got backlash and it was hated the same way modern Brucebabs is hated today because Babs was a lot older than thim. The writers even admitted they have no plans to make the two a thing. Babs even calls him a child.
