The Masters is one of my favorite sporting events, and its 85+ year history brings some great traditions.
So here's a running list of the most interesting facts:
1. Media tickets (badges) have RFID tags inside them so the club knows where each person is at all times.
The best thing my students ever gave me. I thought they were just really diligent note-takers the whole semester, but it turns out they were compiling a book of all the craziest things I'd said, all *very much* out of context. It's 152 pages long.

@GuerinSports why isn't use of the synthetic track part of the long term contingency plan, even for group races, along with refunding all existing bets? i know owners are important, but surely a long term plan should prioritise the saturday crowd and tv audiences?
@GuyHeveldt And a synthetic track right there. Acknowledging there are non-refundable bets on etc, but why wasn't that part of the contingency planning?
