@Kidfears99 I can say that the teen years are at least entertaining because we have introduced spicier language. I'm away for work. This is a text I got yesterday after T1's BG went up to 375:
@LizWFab I feel ya. I have a master's & doctorate. I teach in academia. I just started my MBA at my school so I can somehow, someway make more $ and retire before I'm dead. I thought I would be making enough, but that isn't happening. So, a "free" MBA seemed like my best option right now.
@nerdabetic The Libre is much better than their guardian sensor. We may actually switch from T-slim due to this change because the Medtronic pump is terrific & has a caregiver app.
@Harriyot Outlander. I love how they update/match the music according to where the main characters are. Also, the images are updated to match the season.
Ok. Can we agree that Ingrid Andress’ national anthem at the Home Run Debry needed some autotune? I’m sorry but that was embarrassing. #HomeRunDerby#nationalanthem
@Kidfears99 Ultimately it is his decision, but as his parent I would like to be prepared. My brother died of cancer. If we (my kids & myself) could get screened for those genes, I would. I know people won’t agree, but it is a choice available that I would do.
@Kidfears99 Ok. Here I go (ready to get angry comments). We did Trialnet with our youngest (he was 1) & ourselves 9 years ago after our middle child’s DX. We have no history of T1 & I was scared. We are going to retest the youngest & just had the whole convo about the purpose of it…
@LizWFab I live 2 hours from our closest campus. I do sympathize when it costs some of my students $70 a day to take the train to the campus because they can’t afford to dorm. It all sucks.
My teen & I were talking about RFK Jr. & how the worms were eating his brain. We realized that having unwanted holes in their brains is a Kennedy family trait. 😆💀🕳️. I’ll get my passport to hell ready for the stamp.
