@lancscricket@DerbyshireCCC@ReptonCricket Hi, what's the start time for today's 2nd XI T20? Lancs and Cricinfo have it as 11am, Derbyshire and the ECB show 1pm. Want to make sure we're not rocking up either 2 hours early late! Cheers.
First a tree was down at Chorley. Then the overhead lines past Bolton were damaged. Then we were terminating at Bolton because it was an electric train and couldn't go further due to said damage.
@northernassist 09:25 Preston to MCO. First we were delayed after being told there was a tree down round Chorley. Then we were told we wouldn't go past Bolton because the damage to the OHE was there. But the next train was an electric unit as well. So something, somewhere, wasn't quite right.
Sacked it off for a bus to Eccles instead. Absolutely not worth the hassle when I was going to miss most of the morning session at OT. This country's infrastructure is a complete farce.
Been told we can only leave OT through the car park/pavilion. The Warwick Road exit has been closed to stand stewards down. For a club that's apparently doing well financially, @lancscricket don't half do ridiculous and inconvenient things to save a few quid.

I assume @santanderuk are using AI to generate their user insight notifications. Just had one to say that I'd had a subscription charge to Paramount+ taken a few days ago. Dear reader, that was a payment to the Paramount pub in Manchester. 🤦🏻♂️

@Ki3ran_K@sistoney67 Well, once we've raised the cash, that's the plan. We're aware the pitch isn't perfect, but at the same time, it's just been a series of unfortunate events that have led to the postponements.
@Ki3ran_K@sistoney67 There's only been one occasion where Saturday-Tuesday was the issue. We've mainly had the game scheduled for times when storms have hit. Games were called off all over the place.
And yes, no one's doubting the impact on Stockton's players. But you can't control the weather
@RedTom64@FCUnitedMcr Not to mention that the club actually proposed an alternative protocol to the league, in the event that the pitch was unplayable again for the 21st, which was rejected.
@RedTom64@FCUnitedMcr Exactly what protocol do you want us to have? What do you expect anyone to do? And what would happen if expected heavy rain didn't arrive after any sort of protocol was put into place?
