@MeuchelArren @Bingus_Artworks Sorry, I got super invested in this as Death’s Head is like my all time favorite character ever, and I wish Marvel would just let him go to Hasbro for Transformers or do way more with him then a mini or appearance every couple years to keep copyright. @MeuchelArren @Bingus_Artworks That’s why it’s super frustrating for most old comic creations like that, they were a joint effort. Sometimes it was a writer writing a description and then the artist designed them other times it was a cool drawing by the artist then had writer create a personality for it.

@MeuchelArren @Bingus_Artworks It’s weird, especially during that timeframe in comics so much could be throughly disputed but probably not worth the time/money in courts. Which all the frustrations from that time eventually boiled over in the 90’s that lead to Image being founded, which leads us to Skybound.

@MeuchelArren @Bingus_Artworks That’s just the art, if the idea for him, his personality, what he does/is, and the biggest design aspect (like his head) is written in the script/plot outline before the artwork and story is published that’s what the copyright people will go off of.

@MeuchelArren @Bingus_Artworks High Noon Tex was created/conceived before his appearance in Transformers but wasn’t published until after. Marvel did that so they’d have proof he was their creation. When it comes to copyright it’s the created date not the published date.
