Christian. @Ch_JesusChrist. Happily engaged. Mother. Conservative. Navy Veteran. UAPs. Introvert. Calm down and read The Bible. Read The Book of Mormon.
Before the Church was organized, God provided witnesses.
Men who saw and handled the plates and testified of what they experienced, publicly and consistently.
The Book of Mormon was meant to be witnessed, not taken on one man’s word.
Have you heard of https://t.co/QVdUo1yDvz? They help members in areas with limited temple access attend the temple through organized temple trips. The foundation’s leaders aren’t paid.
If you can donate, please do. I can't think of many causes more noble than this one.
This is, in fact, the real Eric Meadows! X @Support did him dirty and now he's starting over while he figures out how to get his account back. Please give him a follow (again). His light is sorely needed in this world.
I was 14. I couldn't sleep at night. I made an agreement with God I'd read the Book of Mormon everyday day if He'd help me sleep (which was a miracle as the only times I haven't slept was when I didn't read the Book of Mormon). After reading it for a good while, I knelt to talk to God and tell Him I knew the Book of Mormon was true, as I'd felt the gentle Holy Spirit while reading. The moment I told Him I knew it was true a beautiful spiritual love tornado felt like it engulfed me, I felt God there and my mind perfectly comprehend it was true and it was God's work for our time. That loved stayed with me for a long time, until my swimming/ water polo team went to Las Vegas and I liked the excitement too much. I lost the spirit for a bit and learned a lesson.
If you strive to follow these two commandments in Matthew, then you are a true disciple of Christ.
1 John 4:20 “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar.”
John 13:35 “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”
