I'm aware a few people bring illness on themselves when travelling & wouldn't expect staff to have to cater for them, but this didn't seem likely given this was a child going on holiday with his parents and brother. Can you tell me what should have happened & why it didn't? 6 end

@PizzaExpress I was at your Gatwick South restaurant at 10am, enjoying breakfast when a young diner on the next table was unwell & vomited on the floor. Unfortunate, but illness happens.
What shocked me was the reaction of the staff & how they responded to the situation. A 🧵 1/

I understand that the facilities are only for staff, but it seemed the staff were adding insult to injury when they sent the poor mother to wash her hands a 10 min walk away, after she had cleaned the floor of the restaurant. 5
