@TicketmasterCS - Been trying to get my tickets for months for Wilderness 2025. I have paid, I have a valid order number, helpdesk keep telling me they will email me and nothing happens. Event opens in 2.5 hours. @LiveNationUK @AudiUK

[Duncan Maclay @gingerboy]

@TomTheProducer1 @fesshole Defiantly

[Duncan Maclay @gingerboy]

@chrisradar @NPUAhockey Well done Radar. People disagreeing with you at an even higher level.

[Duncan Maclay @gingerboy]

@LottiePorter1 I would also suggest that 2nd XIs have some form of requirement to have a certain proportion of U21 players to ensure younger players get opportunities.

[Duncan Maclay @gingerboy]

@LisaWil17225435 so I am deep into that journey these days and feel Graham all around me as I imagine him navigating the hockey family with your two. Much love. X

[Duncan Maclay @gingerboy]

@LisaWil17225435 Lovely to catch sight of you Mrs Wizlon. Strange how the world works - mine and Rod’s daughters are friends and Rod and I went to school as nippers. I think of you both lots - hockey was never a thing for my footballing boys but my little girl (14) loves her hockey

[Duncan Maclay @gingerboy]

@_rodgilmour Well done buddy. You carry the torch that Wizz lit with passion and dedication. Lovely to see Lisa looking so well. Was only thinking of them all this week when I stumbled across and Old Loughts game in London.

[Duncan Maclay @gingerboy]

@ianhf @SWilliamsCoach Hilariously, a box is not mandatory in cricket. Not an omission I would choose to test 😂

[Duncan Maclay @gingerboy]

@SeanR1974 @EnglandHockey I know. What are the chances. Makes the match reporting tricky!

[Duncan Maclay @gingerboy]

@Kate_Bod Still trucking on. Slipping into a midlife crisis gracefully, aided and abetted by my now-adult sons. It’s not all bad.

[Duncan Maclay @gingerboy]

@_oneill_13 Hockey is also a fairly middle-class sport. Notwithstanding the whole “jolly hockey sticks” cliche, club memberships can be expensive, equipment and facilities equally so. You can’t just go down the park and play hockey.

[Duncan Maclay @gingerboy]

@_oneill_13 For juniors, school sport is FAR more meritocratic than club sport which I guess is why the strongest players end up in that system which is inherently more competitive (generally). Schools actively recruit players as well and do not particularly seek out those who can pay.

[Duncan Maclay @gingerboy]

@hockeyhickeyho1 Also, it’s elite sport. Inclusivity, diversity - all pretty much irrelevant. It’s about being the best first and foremost.

[Duncan Maclay @gingerboy]

@hockeyhickeyho1 It’s a fair question, but private schools play a lot more sport. I would wager that 90% are on some form of scholarship as well. If you are good at sport you would naturally gravitate towards the private system because you get more opportunity to play sport.

[Duncan Maclay @gingerboy]

@millfieldfoot hi - can you tell me if tomorrow’s match v @ArdinglyFC is going to be live streamed 🤞#longwayfromsussex

[Duncan Maclay @gingerboy]

@nealesj @alexa99 Yep. She’s having trouble understanding. More human than ever.

@JodieB105 I have a friend who worked on this - they are microwave laser execution devices. Anyone who comes into Tesco with a loyalty card from another supermarket will be instantly vaporised. Don’t accept loyalty cards, shop locally. Do your research. Wake up!
