The Gingerbread House is going on hiatus. I don't know how long for, but for now at least I'm having a hard time keeping on top of it. Hopefully we'll be back soon, and in the meantime all our previous episodes are still available to (re)visit!
My hope is that we can return to our regularly scheduled Wednesday visits to The Gingerbread House next week. In the mean-time, all our previous episodes are still available to revisit (or visit for the first time!) Thank you π¬
This week's episode is going to be a bit late. Hopefully it will be ready by the weekend, but it is not going to be finished by tomorrow. I'm incredibly sorry for the wait.
Greetings!
In this week's episode, we'll be hearing the story of a villain- the stepmother from Hans Christian Andersen's 'The Wild Swans'π¦’
This is also the story of the person who taught Melita how to be a witch, so tune in to hear a bit more of our narrator's backstory!
Just realised I never tweeted about last week's story!! In a longer-than-usual ep, we learn all about the story of Morgiana and the 40 Thieves (Ali Baba is there too!) Click the link to listen on Podcast Addict, or look for us on your fave podcast app π¬https://t.co/yAJo5NmY6a
Happy Christmas Eve Eve to all those who celebrate! Today's episode was inspired by a story that is especially popular at this time of year. Look out for our take on The Nutcracker in your favourite podcast app!
Look out for our latest episode on your favourite podcast streaming app! This week, prepare to run as fast as you can. Can you catch the gingerbread man?
We've moved to a new podcast host!! Everything should still be working just fine, but please get in touch if you have any issues listening in on past episodes that might be linked to this change.
A little late in the day, but it's still Wednesday here just about! Our season finale should be appearing in all the usual places over the next little while, so keep your eyes peeled π
Our series finale is airing this Wednesday!! There's still plenty of time to catch up. Find us on itunes, spotify, podcast addict, or wherever you prefer to listen!
Here we go! Our longest episode yet! Inspired by Bluebeard, it's 'Two Sisters and Six Ghosts'. Parental discretion is recommended for this one as (like the fairy tale), it's a little bit violent in places. https://t.co/kPO5zbC8y3
It looks like this week's episode is a little longer than the others have been!! After last week's break, this week you're getting ~20 minutes of fairy tale. I hope you enjoy it!π¬
Melita will be back before you know it though (Aug 5th!), and the first six episodes are still online and available to listen to. I'm only one person, and this is my first podcast. I hope you understand, and thank you for your wonderful supportπ
I'm sorry to have to do this, but tomorrow's episode is going to be delayed a week. Due to circumstances outside of my control, I haven't had time to get it to a standard I'm happy with, and I don't want to give you guys anything less than my best.
We have two episodes left in our first season, and I'm incredibly excited about both of them. And while I can't wait to share them with you, I know that they'll sound better if they aren't rushed in the final stages of production.
