@TwinsTrust This sounds great @TwinsTrust. Peer support made such a difference to me - I didn’t have multiples, but did tandem feed my children. My best friend had twins & found good support from other mums of multiples while feeding, and the peer support we gave each other was so important.

Thank you to the @SIMCA_study team for another great day - meeting held in the building where my Mum and Dad met 🥹 (not the castle, this was just on the way!)
Really pleased that our own amazing Lead Research Nurse, Oonagh, could join this event so MPs and Peers could hear directly about the difference our pilot of providing miscarriage care from the 1st loss (not the 3rd) makes to patients 🥰👩🏻⚕️ We can do better for pregnancy loss 🫶🏾
Last week, @NNAP_RCPCH published key data relating to babies admitted to neonatal care in England, Scotland & Wales in 2023.
A short 🧵 to explore the findings

Our Joint Policy Unit with @SandsUK has long called for saving babies’ lives and reducing inequalities in pregnancy and loss to be national priorities. It’s great the @LibDems passed a motion on equitable and improved outcomes during pregnancy and the neonatal period at #LdConf👏
Fantastic to see the Liberal Democrats putting saving babies’ lives on the political agenda, especially their focus on reducing inequalities. Thank you for all your hard work @LibDemDonna 👏
So amazing to see @_OliviaBlake talking about our Graded Model for Care pilot study 😍. We can't wait to share final results and hope we can make a difference to thousands of women facing the pain and heartache of experiencing 3 miscarriages before getting dedicated care. 💗
Today there was a debate on #BabyLoss in Parliament.
Thank you so much to all the MPs who shared their own & constituents’ stories calling for government action to save babies’ lives and improve care for bereaved families.

1 in 2 adults are affected by baby loss. It's encouraging to hear a debate on #BabyLoss gain cross-party support and hear @_OliviaBlake speak about our work to date. We look forward to working with all MPs to keep this issue on the agenda and to improve maternity outcomes.
We’re supporting our friends @tommys with their #MiscarriageMatters campaign👇
Together Sands & Tommy's created the Joint Policy Unit because together we are focussed on achieving policy change to save more babies’ lives during pregnancy, birth and the neonatal period, and on tackling inequalities in loss, so that everyone can benefit from the best possible outcomes.
We agree that the recording of miscarriages should be a priority so parents can get the right support, and vital research can take place 💙🧡
Can you take a moment and add your name so we can show the next Government that every loss must be counted ⬇️

Great visit today to the truly awe-inspiring @tommysbham Centre team along with our colleagues in the DHSC Maternity and Neonatal team. Me and @LouiseEShaw were *just a bit* excited to be greeted by this as we arrived at University of Birmingham Station 😆
Proud of the latest info I've written for @tommys - developed as part of our induction of labour content but relevant across the board https://t.co/gYFwAsVSRT
Pleased to launch our second annual report on progress to save babies' lives today.
The scale of pregnancy loss and baby deaths is not inevitable, nor are the current inequalities in outcomes between different groups. We need serious government commitment to change.
Sands and @Tommys Joint Policy Unit report says scale of pregnancy loss and baby deaths in the UK is ‘not inevitable’.
