God told Noah to build the ark for himself and his family, he does not tell Noah to preach in the hope that others will join him, it's just for him and his family.

@HaniEAlyousef @AiG The Hebrews quote says the Noah worked for 120 yrs on the ark to save his own household. It does not say that he preached to anyone or that he was mocked.

@HaniEAlyousef @AiG Basically God told Noah to build the ark for himself, his family and the animals. He didn't ask Noah to preach about the flood or convince people to change their ways in fact God seems adamant that all shall perish and there is no mention in the Bible of Noah warning anybody.

@HaniEAlyousef @AiG The final 7 days, again if Noah had preached about the flood and the "evil" people had seen him preparing, they would have done something to scupper his efforts, even if they thought it was just a big art installation with pets evil people would have vandalised it in some way.

@HaniEAlyousef @AiG The construction of the ark, the Bible tells us that Noah built a fairly big boat, it doesn't say where he built it or what he said to his neighbours about why he built it, let's face it if he had told them & they were that evil wouldn't they have tried to destroy it?
