In old woodcuts, the werewolf wasn’t drawn as a wolf or as a hybrid wolf-man. It was just a wild, crazy-eyed man behaving like a wolf and tearing into people. Would bet money this is the version Eggers went with
That this science fiction novel was probably single-handedly responsible for World War 2 and the entire mythos of the 20th century, the effects of which are still being widely felt across Western civilization.
"Maciste en el infierno" es una joya perturbadora de 1925, que destaca por sus sorprendentes efectos especiales, inspirados en las ilustraciones de Gustavo Doré para la Divina Comedia de Dante Alighieri.
Movies I think Robert Eggers should do:
- The Call of Cthulhu or any other Lovecraft adaptation
- Return of the Obra Dinn
- Moby Dick adaptation
- Minotaur adaptation
- Dante's The Devine Comedy
- The Picture of Dorian Gray
- Any Edgar Allan Poe story
- The Leviathan
everyone loves robert eggers work so much that it’s turned into so many people sharing on the tl what they wish he’d adapt, so i need share my four front runners
Yes, that's how acting works! Casting directors seek out actors that have the look they want. And we should treat these actors as actors doing a job rather than making fun of them or pitying them. Because they're in an Eggers film and that's awesome for them.
