@Gabbar0099 Still trying to figure out how Sonia, a former waitress, and married to an air pilot turned politician. is one of the wealthiest woman in the world …

When Guru Tegh Bahadur was asked to convert to Islam by the Mughal tyrant Aurangzeb, the great saint responded:
“My answer to you is unequivocal. My Dharma is that of a Hindu. How can I forsake that which is so profoundly beloved to me? Not only does this Dharma bring happiness in this life but also the life hereafter. Nothing else equals it and only a fool would think to abandon it.”
For his refusal to convert, Aurangzeb ordered that Guru Tegh Bahadur be publicly beheaded.

“And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in.”

@KantInEastt Goans didn’t do as well as Hindus, Jains and Sikhs financially in East Africa …they were low paid office workers, teachers etc
Whilst other Indians prospered immensely
Identified themselves as Portuguese rather than Indians even though they were darker than Indians
@turning_axis@theskindoctor13 There is a difference between a stray dog and a mother cat … hope you can be sensitive to that … the former I would not encourage but the second is useful in any Society for the protection of the Society from mice, rats and other pests .
Unnecessary cruelty to animals is bad
@theskindoctor13 I’m being harangued and intimidated too by my Society for calling PETA to warn them not to kill off a female stray cat who just has kittens as they tried to capture her
If you’ve ever wondered what confidence a civilization can have at its peak, look at those walls.
A thousand years ago, in the forests of central India, a small Chandela kingdom built a temple complex so advanced in geometry, astronomy, and stone engineering that modern architects still struggle to explain parts of it.
No steel. No machines. Just craftsmen who carved sandstone like it was butter and encoded an entire worldview into a city of temples.
This is the Khujaraho Temple Complex, a group of Hindu and Jain temples in Madhya Pradesh, India.
Why the Aryan Invasion Theory Was Invented — And Why Germans Loved It
1/
When Europeans discovered Sanskrit in the 18th–19th century, they realised something embarrassing:
Sanskrit was older, sharper, and more refined than Latin, Greek, or Germanic languages.
This flipped their entire “Europe = centre of civilisation” worldview.
2/
Colonial powers now had a problem:
“How do we explain that the world’s oldest Indo-European language is Indian?”
Easy.
Just claim Indians didn't create it.
Enter the Aryan Invasion Theory — Europe’s intellectual escape hatch.
3/
AIT solved two political needs:
• Europe remains the “origin” of civilisation
• India is recast as a land civilised by outsiders
Perfect colonial PR:
“Even your ancestors came from outside. We’re just the latest civilisers.”
4/
It also gave the British their favourite toy: divide-and-rule.
North = “Aryan”
South = “Dravidian”
Eternal conflict = “scientific”
This framework later fueled Dravidian politics, anti-Brahminism, and identity propaganda.
5/
Now the interesting part:
Why did Germany in particular become obsessed with Aryans?
Not because they had “no heritage” — but because they had NO ancient imperial heritage like Greece, Rome, or Egypt.
They needed a glorious pre-Christian identity.
6/
Sanskrit gave German thinkers a golden ticket:
A deep, ancient, prestigious lineage bypassing Rome and the Church.
“Germans = closest descendants of the original Aryans.”
From romantic nationalism → racial pseudoscience → Nazi mythology.
The slope was that slippery.
7/
Meanwhile British scholars pushed AIT because it validated empire:
“We ruled India before. Now we rule it again.”
A neat narrative loop.
German nationalists championed Aryans. British administrators weaponised Aryans.
Everybody benefited — except India.
8/
Modern evidence?
Genetics, archaeology, and hydrology all point say NO AMT/AIT:
• No invasion
• No violent elite replacement
• Cultural continuity from Harappans to today
• Movement of ideas, not a conquering race
• Saraswati dried naturally, not via invaders
The AIT is dead.
9/
AIT wasn’t science.
It was:
• European insecurity
• German nationalism
• Colonial agenda
• Missionary politics
Wrapped in a convenient philological wrapper.
10/
Aryan Invasion Theory wasn’t “discovered.”
It was manufactured — to protect European ego, justify empire, and gift Germany a fake ancient identity.
India just happened to be the stage.
