@NZStuff Why is it expected that Primary Teachers be ready for lockdown yet University of Canterbury cancels all classes? UC - independent learners pay $7-9k per course and have systems set up to video sessions - not primary teachers.
@BrennanLM Hi. My daughter is obsessed with Crown of Candy and your DMing. I don't know the D&D world - but wondering if there is merch associated with this campaign. If so, any directions you can point me please?
@GuiltFemPod @DeborahFW Did you know that there is a groups of senior women in the UN who are active in the covid response? This interview - check out about 15 mins in. Thanks! @HelenClarkNZ#women#UnitedNations#economy#covidresponse

We have also set up teams for extra curricular groups, staff groups and the DP is sending daily fun optional challenges to staff to keep us feeling connected as staff. #edchatnz
@AKeenReader @Unleash_NZ We are taking a roll every day. Then there is a follow up call made if a student consistently doesn't turn up. This is as pastoral support to see if there is anything we can help with. #edchatnz
@Doctor_Harves@LisaGrayson2803@suemcl1 My school have been amazing offering training for three weeks before our lockdown "just in case". And they are very mindful of student safety which is why they use teams - and video off option. The support team are fantastic. @WiljDekkers
A3. My worry is that some practical-focused subjects turn more into literacy focused things as we aim to meet social learning apart from each other. However, still trying! #edchatnz
@LisaGrayson2803@suemcl1 I like Zoom. Offers plenty of options for students. Although I'm using Teams in Microsoft 365 because that's what my school are doing. #edchatnz
