In 1866, Senator Jacob Howard, a drafter of the 14th Amendment, said the citizenship clause required "full and complete jurisdiction," not just physical presence in the country.

Meaning, just because you're born in the United States, it technically doesn't automatically make you an American.

The Fourteenth Amendment wasn’t written to be a floor mat to mass illegal migration.

The Supreme Court got this one wrong.

And Congress shouldn’t hide behind the courts. It should clarify the law and restore the original purpose of the Fourteenth Amendment.
