@reverandglenn @JuliusGoat I know you guys are super excited to use it, but everyone knows that the r-word is absolutely a slur. Use it if you want, but be enough of an adult to admit what you’re doing.
@an_tiddies @anderwreckz@drgurner@RachelCharleneL Again, I take serious issue with the idea that the only guys saying this stuff are ones who can’t get a date. That is just not true.
@FionaLynch1997 @drgurner@RachelCharleneL We should be condemning what they say, not vaguely calling it “unfortunate” as though it’s a passive natural phenomenon.
@FionaLynch1997 @drgurner@RachelCharleneL That’s fair enough, but I still really take issue with approaching this with that kind of neutrality. Polarisation implies that there are 2 equal sides that are just at odds. What we’re seeing with these men is radicalization. People who say this stuff SHOULD lose out on dating.
@Geniasis@drgurner@RachelCharleneL You have completely misunderstood my tweet. I said she was treating the girls *themselves* as “missed opportunities”, for the boys. As in, the boys are going to miss out on dating them when they otherwise would’ve been available. It’s gross.
@Geniasis@drgurner@RachelCharleneL I didn’t say the women are missing out, they most assuredly are not by deciding not to have relationships with misogynists. And I think it assumes a lot to think all the men saying this stuff are incels. But again, why is it unfortunate if no one dates an abusive man?
