I’m sorry Man U Fans, but can you see a 10 can control the game and still create chances?? That’s what we’re saying about Bruno, everything shouldn’t be risk and chaos. It’s why he struggles to create in a settled system.
A top 10 has to know when to speed the game up and when to slow it down, when to force the pass and when to keep possession, when to attack the space and when to manipulate the opposition shape. Bruno is incredible when the game becomes transitional and chaotic because he sees the killer pass before everyone else, but when the game requires patience, circulation and positional discipline, you will sometimes see his limitations. World Cup performance is a good example.
Creating chances isn’t just about attempting difficult passes every five minutes. Sometimes the best chance creator is the guy who controls the tempo, attracts two players, moves the block and creates the opening before the final pass is even played.
That’s the difference between chance creation and game control. I hope he learns one or two from Odegaard about game control.
Declan Rice on the Ballon d'Or: "Second year in a row nominated, I'm very proud. You know who I want to win. I'd love to see Harry Kane win it. I wish him all the best in that" [@SkySports]
Real Madrid fans are genuinely in for a rude awakening, I‘ve said it from the start. The second Hansi Flick was announced, I knew Barcelona would win everything in Spain and be a top contender for the UCL. Bookmark this tweet if you want, Madrid are winning nothing in Spain.
Now compare this to @B_Fernandes8 who simply treats the ball with so much disgust
Odegaard is what you call a playmaker. This what a no10 looks like
Linking the midfield and attack Knitting passes. Finding gaps. Everything goes through them
Everything is done through precision
Bunch of 23-year-olds with a 40-year-old manager were running around giving prime KDB, Halaand, Rodri, Salah, Trent, Klopp and Pep etc problems in close title races. This was always very fathomable I’m afraid
