Russians are brainwashing Ukrainian children from Mariupol who had an openly pro-Ukrainian position and turning them into Russian propagandists.

This is the story of Sofia Krulikovskaya. Russian forces murdered her father in March 2022 when they seized Mariupol.

Before the full-scale invasion, Sofia took part in all pro-Ukrainian events, wore Vyshyvankas, and took photos with a sign that said, “Ukraine is above everything.”

That is exactly the kind of child russian propaganda tries to “convert” into a symbol of loyalty to Russia: someone who loved Ukraine, lost a parent because of Russia’s invasion, and can then be presented as having supposedly “chosen” Russia.

Sofia was selected to “undergo training in Moscow” to become what russians call a “blogger” and what is essentially a propagandist.

After returning from Moscow, she began appearing at russian events in occupied Mariupol. In one photo, she is wearing official Russian merch declaring: “Russia is my entire life. Putin is the president of Russia.”

Apparently, even the coat needed to remind everyone who they are supposed to worship.

Unfortunately, Sofia is not an isolated case. Russia is systematically trying to sever Ukrainian children from their Ukrainian identity and turn them into advocates for occupation, Putin and Russia’s wars.

It is one of the most disgusting forms of propaganda imaginable. Investigation was conducted by “backtoukraine”.

The Russians have no intention of ending the war — on the contrary, for 21 million rubles, they are massively expanding the memorial in Saratov for 9900 names.
