Who's idea was it to drink liquids with a spoon? Even worse to put solids in it that falls and splashes the liquid on your face. I bet it was the Brits. Soups are dumb. Make soups a beverage again.
When considering technical debt and the cost of refactoring, consider this: good code makes big changes easy, bad code makes small changes difficult. #ProTip#programming#SoftwareEngineering
1. go into interview
2. is given stupid live coding exercise
3. get stressed / annoyed because you hate these exercises and just give up midway
4. lecture the interviewer about said outdated practices
5. finish the interview
6. lay down stressed about said experience

I've had so many examples of this pattern: can't code during interview/think of optimal solution right after it's finished.
Performance anxiety anyone? It can't be just me.

7. think of optimal solution for said problem O(1) instead of the O(N!) initially attempted during the exercise
8. realise it's not the first time this happens
