"Nonostante la positività nemmeno io, come Sinner, ho mai smesso di giocare. Quando mi è arrivata la notizia ero al mio ultimo torneo dell’anno, poi al primo torneo della stagione successiva sono stato scagionato. Non è stata una bella off season.

Per me è stato infinito. Io credo che Jannik l'abbia già gestita, in teoria potrebbe essere tutto finito, a meno che la WADA non impugni nuovamente il caso. È veramente una stupidaggine: parliamo di una crema per ferite che non influenza le prestazioni, anche a lui hanno trovato una quantità minima.

Ai tempi della mia accusa avevo parlato con un amico biologo che mi ha detto, testualmente: ‘se ti dopi con il Clostebol sei veramente un imbecille‘. Fa parte della famiglia degli steroidi, ma non è uno steroide vero e proprio. Se ti vuoi dopare prendi altri ‘bol’, non sicuro il Clostebol.

Chi come Kyrgios, Pouille o Shapovalov parla a sproposito è perché non ha fatto analisi e non sanno bene di che cosa parlano. Leggono un titolo e parlano perché hanno la lingua o perché sono invidiosi. Jannik ha tutta la mia solidarietà e il mio appoggio"

Andy Roddick says there is no chance that Jannik Sinner wasn’t clean at the Australian Open:

“There's also a lot of noise online basically saying ‘take away his win in January. He beat my favorite player there.’ Stop. You get tested at every slam so there's no chance he was not clean at the Australian Open if he tested as much as he did. The amount in his system is one billionth of a gram, or 58,000 times smaller than a grain of salt. Which is completely consistent with the explanation. The explanation is the trainer had a cut, he tried to treat it with a cream that is legal where he's from, it's not legal here. He massages Jannik. Jannik apparently has psoriasis, it rubs into the wound and that's the way they think it came up on the test. Simple enough but imperfect.”

“I'm gonna read a text from someone I will not name who said this after reading the 33 page document ‘A question that I had along with others initially is how did this not become public before now? I was under the impression that once you test positive it is to be made public.’ That's false... It only goes public once the final tribunal decision is handed down. So all this talk of sinister things and preferential treatment... you're a number on a bottle, you're allowed to appeal during the appeal process until you're guilty, so innocence until proven guilty is something we hear a lot. It didn't come out until a few days ago and then became a complete firestorm.”

In 2016, the ITF announced it would publicly announce “adverse findings” if a player was provisionally suspended.

Per the policy, if a player didn’t accept a provisional suspension, the pos. test wouldn’t be made public until a resolution was reached.

Stessa sostanza, stesso tipo di contaminazione, stessa procedura e conclusione negli stessi tempi (5 mesi) = nessuna sospensione ma punti e soldi guadagnati nella settimana del test tolti.
Ai vari Kyrgios e Shapovalov converrebbe informarsi bene prima di aprire la bocca
