@stevierosebudds You may already be doing this, but jsyk I found that coverage under the affordable care act was about 50% cheaper than what COBRA would have cost. Open enrollment for the ACA is closed but if you lost your job you can still enroll— very very worth looking into

I was quoted $780/month for COBRA. You know. Like just casually picking up a second rent check.

@sambria I emailed HR asking how COBRA worked and that was their response. You can sign up for the ACA whenever as long as you had a “qualifying life event” (like being terminated)!
