The 7th April 2026 marks the 32nd commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. We are joined by Nations and friends of Rwanda across the world for Kwibuka32.
We remember the more than one million lives lost, honour the resilience of survivors, and stand in solidarity with all those committed to ensuring that "Never Again" this time is for real.
Kwibuka is not only a time of remembrance but also a call to uphold truth, fight genocide denial and ideology, strengthen our shared responsibility to protect humanity, and call upon countries where genocide suspects are still holed up, to double down on their efforts to bring them to justice.
From the United Kingdom, we reaffirm our commitment to remembrance, unity, and renewal.

🕊️On #WhiteRibbonDay, we stood together, men and women, staff and visitors, united in our pledge to never commit, condone, or remain silent about sexual exploitation and abuse.
Our shared action reflects the UN’s ongoing commitment to foster safety, dignity & respect. #NoExcuse
Today marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Digital violence is not virtual, it is real. In these #16Days, let’s work together to end violence and to put the rights of victims of sexual exploitation and abuse first. #VictimsRightsFirst
Children’s rights are non-negotiable.
At OVRA, we work to protect the rights of child victims of sexual exploitation and abuse, and children born of SEA. On #WorldChildrensDay, we stand firm: every child deserves safety, dignity, and a future free from harm.

@UNFPARCA@UNFPA C’est tres gentil de votre part de penser aux femmes en cas de crises…. Le stress fait que les regles ne s’arrêtent pas, penser aussi aux méthodes de réduire le stress.
Today, eHuza and Rwanda Bridges to Justice (@RwandaB2Justice) visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial (@Kigali_Memorial) to pay respect and honor the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.
A solemn moment of reflection, remembrance, and a renewed commitment to building a just and united future.
