Two strategic losses for India

1. Manufacturing
The Trumpian turmoil since 2016 presented India with a massive China+1 opportunity. Due to multiple reasons, often intermixed, India failed to convert it. We could not move manufacturing on a mass scale away from China, into India, at all. That window is almost gone now.
(a lot has been written about it and I have also shared so many informed pieces)

2. Education and Talent
Trump is taking a sledgehammer to Top American Universities, and entire S&T + R&D establishment. He is literally dismantling their edifice. India could have benefitted hugely by attracting best global talent (students, researchers) and also retaining our best. That is also gone because RSS has captured higher education and is retooling, refashioning it for its own goals, not for an open, liberal, scientific pursuit. The best minds need space to do their thing, while expressing themselves freely.

We could have grabbed both these huge opportunities, to feed into our economy, R&D, talent pool and economic growth.

PERTINENT TO NOTE, all the Covid hospital ICU are in tremendous stress of patients with various infections from 6 months. ICUs may have NOT BEEN FUMIGATED regularly as required, creating serious SECONDARY INFECTION & INCREASING MORTALITY .
