Fırsat olsa ben bile dönerim. On numara boş pazar, inşaattan kalem ucuna kadar her şeyiyle baştan inşa edilecek bir bölge.

"LIKE MINA" 👍
While Ethereum aims to become a "proof settlement layer" like Mina, some solutions being developed for Solana focus on moving on-chain data off-chain, like Mina. Mina is already living this future. With a design created back in 2017, Mina doesn’t just have the proof-settlement structure @VitalikButerin talks about; it also does what some zk solutions developed for Solana, like the impressive work by @LightProtocol, @mert 👏, aim to do by using zk proofs to offload data from the chain.
Plus, it runs parallel execution like Solana and works as a recursive proof chain, where the entire state can be verified with just a 22KB proof.
@MinaProtocol built as a modular chain, keeping execution and data off-chain, free from state bloat and bottlenecks.
While others are only now stepping onto this path, Mina was optimized from the start to compute off-chain and verify only the proofs on-chain.
As Vitalik said, the “endgame” is for all rollups to be zk-based in the next 10 years, with state roots committed to L1 every slot.
Other chains are gradually exploring zk-rollups and off-chain compute to lighten their execution and data load, but Mina was built natively with this vision from day one.
"Ethereum and Solana are trying to add zk tech like changing an engine in a moving car"
Costs, infrastructure challenges, optimization issues...
To see that this isn’t just a metaphor, look at how current L2s scaling Ethereum have to work with centralized sequencers. Making such radical changes in a structure that wasn’t designed this way from the start means they’re forced to rely on centralized bottlenecks: they pass millions of transactions to be settled on Ethereum through centralized servers, even with MEV and other risks.
But Mina?
It computes everything off-chain and only sends proofs to the mainnet, keeping the blockchain at a fixed size of 22KB. And it doesn’t need any extra work or modifications to make this possible. (I added a workflow diagram below.)
Unlike L2s with centralized sequencers, Mina does this using a distributed and trustless proof generation layer called Snarketplace for native transactions. On the dApp side, computation happens right in the user's browser. This means that as Mina’s network grows to millions of users, it gains millions of devices to handle computations for network transactions. In other words, the more Mina is used, the easier it scales.
Will others catch up in 10 years?
Who knows.
But one thing’s certain: Mina is already shaping the inevitable future of blockchain.
Let’s take a closer look at how Mina optimizes transaction load by keeping computations off-chain. Transactions in a new block are moved off-chain for computation and sent to the "scan state."
From there, snark workers pick up these transactions, process them off-chain, and generate proofs. These proofs are then merged and submitted to a marketplace called Snarketplace.
In Snarketplace, block producers purchase the proofs they need, placing them in the block to verify and finalize the transactions.
