Walking down the sidewalk: Damn, I wish I were roller skating.
In a meeting: Stop daydreaming about roller skating and focus.
Driving: This is like roller skating but NOT AS GOOD.
@LetterHavoc I taught her what “this way” means (she knows it means to pay attention and switch directions) and “go fast!” (especially if we’re already fast and it’s not a good place to stop). Both are handy!
@LetterHavoc The problem with mine wasn’t running, but learning that skates aren’t going to hurt her. A leash the right size helped—it has a knot I can hold in the middle that helps me hold her AWAY from me when we’re stopping or changing directions so I don’t tag her with my wheels.
@queerfrontier In fact, when it’s really cold, the mask actually helps—breathing super cold air into warm lungs is worse for me (personally) than breathing through the mask.
@queerfrontier I have asthma too, and it takes some practice, but I’ve found exercising in a mask isn’t as big a deal as I expected. I hope that’s helpful to hear.
If your vision of a glorious space future is being ushered in by someone who tweets nazi memes in support of antivaxxers I'm gonna suggest you need to seriously reconsider that vision
I’ve been taking one masters class every semester for six years and today I got to finally check this box:
✅ This course will complete my degree.
One more class.
I’ve been fostering these sweeties since the 4th when they ran from fireworks and into my yard. We couldn’t find an owner or a new home for over five weeks. Now they have a home! In Long Island. Can you help them travel from ABQ? Help Davey and Bravey Home https://t.co/d36C5Bivnn
If transport is completely paid for, then the adoptive family will get some seed money for the dogs, up to $500. If we raise more than that, the rest will go to https://t.co/SDZDZmz48F, who transports rescues to new homes for free.
