Yuzu’s photo message on his IG says:
“Ever since I was a teenager, there have been articles with lies, delusions and stories from related parties I've never even met...INTERESTING. I’ll put all my strength, soul & skill I’ve got and myself into skating.”

Translation:
“I'm surprised that wild ‘delusions’, ‘imagination’ and ‘pure lies’ are turned into articles.
That's amazing😊
Even if I file a lawsuit and win it, there's nothing good that comes out of it, so I won't do it😊
Sorry, these are my own (#HANYUYUZURU’s) words!🙂”
@awesomousse thank you for reading and all the kind words!!! 🩵 also i hear you about a fleeting dream... we originally had a section that was titled replay > re_pray about a fleeting dream but ended up cutting it haha ... but it really does go "round and round"
@MomoYuzuPooh while we were writing this we were really struck by how you can still enjoy re_pray on a surface level if you wish, but if you wanted to go deeper it brings a lot of joy as well. thank you yuzuru...
@DoctorMom14 thank you for reading!!!!! ❤️all the kudos on the lovely words for requiem goes to my co-writer and friend @satokomiyahara :). re_pray requiem is now my favorite requiem of all time also
i've been wanting to shift off the stream of consciousness of twitter for a while now because this platform doesn't seem like it's really for me anymore... we're writing for maybe an intended audience of like 3-4 people but please pop on in if you wish.. 🩵
happy 11/11 to all who celebrate :) me and my friends started a substack to share our thoughts on yuzuru's art... and in the spirit of his highness we have a re_pray post scheduled for 11:11pm est so HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE... 🫡 https://t.co/jPs5G8qRES
yuzuru's use of sheena ringo's "rooster, snake & pig" (the three poisons of buddhism) to introduce the path of conquest he embarks on in the first half.... the three poisons which keep sentient beings trapped in samsara - living, suffering, dying, reincarnating, over and over...
the requiem - one summer's day - haru yo koi sequence of the second half is my favorite though thematically... it's really lovely... maybe more on that later haha
