Best book I have read this year. Thank you for the recommendation @msclark0 (I think it was you, it took me a while!)

Maths Interhouse day 1 for year 7. A very exciting maths dragons competition with much excitement, full participation, and impressive sprinting by our wonderful students. But the results could all change tomorrow! Come on Dragons! 🐲 @gisheadofmaths@gismalaysia@gismathsevents
KLJMC2023: Come on Dragons!
We have had some great icebreakers to start the day and are now in the individual round before code breaker, carousel, and everybody's favourite this afternoon: Dragon Maths!

The mark of an outstanding faculty- all 16 dressing up for world book day on the theme of ‘Where will we go? What will we see?’ - Around the World in 80 days. We also linked ourselves to a sequence of 16 numbers below 80 - Zumkeller numbers.
This is an amazing achievement. Only 180 students up to age 18 achieved a merit or distinction. Incredible mathematicians. And well done to all of the staff who support them!
I love seeing this data, thanks UKMT! And huge congratulations to @gisheadofmaths . One of our year 9 superstar mathematicians scored 130, when only 84 out of 209,725 students got more than 129 on a competition open to year 11 students 🥳

@danielrbaum@Just_Maths@mrbartonmaths @jemmaths @mathsjem Not directly answering, but if you get whiteboards in place of display boards it’s ace. All students up on their feet doing maths on whiteboards together, you can see everyone’s work at once. Works with 7-13 and is a big part of our lessons.
