Tell me your greatest fear.
I'll start.
Being on my deathbed not being able to give what my parents deserve, not given my children the best platform to soar in life and freedom to live my life the way I want...
They say nobody is coming to save you, and most times, that's true. But my friends? They've saved me more times than I can count, even when they didn't know they were doing it. In small ways, in big ways. In laughter, in presence, in reminders that I'm not alone.
When you least expect it. When you need saving the most. Your good friends will save you.
I've seen my friends fight my battles for me this year that has left me feeling sooo damn lucky.
Û I love them so much.
Most people think resilience means never breaking. It does not. Resilience is how quickly you return to baseline after you break. Everyone falls. High performers just reset faster.
Chess has this concept: a draw by agreement.
Both players look at the board, recognize a balanced position, and say: 'Neither of us wins here. And that's okay.'
I think about how rarely we do that in real life. In arguments. In negotiations. In relationships.
Sometimes the wise move is: 'This is a draw. Let's both walk away okay.'
Chess teaches everything
While everyone else is asleep, there is me wide awake, thinking about a crush that may never see the light of day.
But honestly, it shouldn't even be called a crush anymore. Maybe people 25 and under can get away with that word. Once you're 30 and above, there should be another name for it. Something that sounds less like butterflies and more like quiet longing.
My only consolation right now is this: even though she may not know me, even though we are not in the same country or even on the same continent but we are under the same sky.
And maybe, just maybe, life has a way of creating strange intersections. Maybe somewhere ahead, there is a point where our paths finally meet, and we land right beside each other exactly where we were always meant to be.
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it adorable when someone switches effortlessly between English and their local dialect?
Like, they'll be speaking the cleanest English you've ever heard, then casually switch to their dialect for like two seconds and smoothly switch right back to English.
This is also the reason I like talking with @Kfofanah97 I don't know why, but it's awesome to me
You cannot be an Astronaut or a Formula 1 racer from Bo, Sierra Leone.
You can not dream or become anything outside your level of exposure. You are limited to the dreams available in your region.
There's a Spacecraft designer in Sierra Leone who is currently a makeup artist and thinks it's their calling.
Geography is destiny
The reason why I love X(Twitter) 101.
Any female you see here on X are only the intelligent and intellectual ones.
Not those ones shaking bums on TikTok.
If you have someone who wants to leave his or her Room and Parlour self con in Freetown, from Wellington to Dwazark(a place where there's good light and parking spot)
Please, tell me
I just realized how wealthy I have become in half a decade.
For the first time, I have people I can call when I'm having a bad day. I met people who I can celebrate my good news with.
I met people who call me out for my misgivings and encourage me to evolve into a more intentional and responsible man.
I have discovered places I never thought even existed, and it's given me a hunger to travel the world and know people, see things admire them, changing me in ways I never knew I could change.
Sleep finally feels like rest.
Food is something I long to eat every single day.
My body feels tired, but from doing the things I love.
Isn't that life, the whole point and essence of it?
I read somewhere that "If you want to know how easy stagnation is, visit the neighborhood you grew up in. You'll see hairstylists, barbers, bike men, fashion designers, store owners that you left there 10-20 years ago still in the same place, doing the same thing at the same quality, no form of expansion.
The sad part? They all had dreams to have leveled up by now. The unfair part? They are hard workers. Progress is not by hard work In year, let move with GOD, work smart, work hard, be too confidene and a little cr4zy. If you're not ready to be 10% more audacious this 2026, try again in 2027.
This is a reminder to ME and any other person who needs it.
