You are told that there's no money for development.

Public assets are being sold in the name of financing infrastructural development because 87% of collected revenue is being used to service Odious debts.

Now ask yourselves, where are these people getting money?

Let me say this: Halima Ngache has been arrested simply because the govt feels she is related to an X account posting details on sensitive movements. One of the main accounts posting President Ruto’s movements is Sholla Ard.

My client is being forced to pay a fine by NTSA for allegedly speeding at 110 km/h, yet his car has been parked for the last six months.

How many other people have experienced this? These automated fines are illegal because they cannot be independently verified. What happens if someone clones your number plate and commits a traffic offence?

BREAKING: NTSA has released guidelines on how owners of vehicles over 4 years old will comply with the new annual vehicle inspections.

This affects millions of motorists, so kindly share this thread.

1. Inspection fees

Motorcycles

KSh 200 booking fee
KSh 200 inspection fee

Private cars, commercial vehicles and trailers

KSh 1,000 booking fee
KSh 1,000 inspection fee

2. Booking
Once you book, you will be given a date to present your vehicle for inspection.
3. If your vehicle passes

You will receive an inspection report.

An inspection sticker will be placed on your vehicle.
4. If your vehicle fails

You will be given 14 days to fix the defects identified during the inspection.

You will then return for a re-inspection without paying the booking or inspection fee again.
Many Kenyans will view this as an additional annual cost of owning a vehicle, as motorists will now have to pay inspection-related charges each year.

Let’s talk about something as basic as gloves. One of the culture shocks I had in Germany is that in every patient’s room kuna 3 boxes of gloves in different sizes. Sometimes the healthcare workers will change gloves upto 5x when dealing with a single patient. Saa hiyo the most common phrase you’ll hear in KNH is “unawaste gloves/something else” and usually, the one or 2 boxes rotating in a ward are in the custody of a nurse and you have to walk around to find them or ask to get a pair. Mind you we’re not talking about a specialized medical device. Basic gloves.
But apparently we’re capable of handling another country’s epidemic.
