Man actually wants to believe - it is the brutality of life that trains him not to, and yet this is no life at all, and so it is *life* that will teach him once again that he can believe and that he must, for in order to have what he seeks he should not bet on the entropy of what is likely, but on the vitality of what is not.
He must dream and dream big, but with steel, a plan and a willingness to fail. Only then can he be brave and play Russian roulette with his destiny, flirting with lady luck in the game of chance to truly even have a chance, instead of hiding in logic and cynicism, telling himself he’s enlightened for being unlike those “fools” who dare to try. No! It is he who is the fool, for the coward is the fool who does not dare, who does not try their luck nor defy their chances to bend this reality to their will, to give them their heart's desire and what they most require - to reach out with bloodied hand for their destiny!
Re: De La Rue
Hiyo maneno ya sale of De la rue, one of the things they do apart from printing currency is printing government security documents Eg ballot papers. Wicknell has a company called Ren-form that also does that. Connected or coincidence?
Exonerated
He was there when the complaint was made,
there when the officers were sent,
there when the journey began,
there when every movement was reported.
He was there when Albert was taken,
there when power became a weapon,
there when a young man was dragged far from home,
there when fear was meant to serve as an example.
Then Albert died.
Suddenly, the chain broke.
The briefings vanished.
The orders became whispers.
The senior man became a stranger.
Junior officers were left holding the blood,
while the powerful washed their hands
and called it exoneration.
But how do you clear the man
who stood at every door
until death entered the room?
How do you erase his shadow
from a story where it followed Albert
from the complaint
to the arrest
to the final breath?
They may clear his name on paper,
but Kenyans can still read the trail.
You cannot be present at every step,
then disappear only when the body appears.

@edwinsifuna@SafaricomPLC "Orders from Above" ni nani? We agreed we boycott Safaricom for sharing our data with abductors, offering expensive and slow inconsistent internet, exorbitant MPESA transaction costs, and colluding with scammers to steal from banking apps. Why are y'all hell-bent on using it?
Nimekaa hivi nikakumbuka one day I got home around 8pm very tired ,I was trying my hand at selling tomatoes. That business showed me chege. The moment I sat down a young lady then about 22 years old came from the kitchen carrying a thermos and behind her the chairlady with food. I had never seen this girl in my life , the first thing the chairlady said was "salimia babako " . My mind went into the archives measuring the approximate age ,facial structure and complexion, then quickly going through my list of escapeds trying to figure out ni wapi niliwacha mbegu .
After a long silence, chairlady turned to the young girl and said "introduce yourself" kumbe my boy had been sneaking her into his Simba she had spent 2 days there before she was discovered by the chairlady and invited into the main house . Imagine my sons shock when he got home and found his sneaky link having super in the main house , na hivo ndivyo kijana ilioa . Lovely scenes.
If you do not think you should have to change for someone, please, stay alone. Love is for the brave and the reverent - for the devoted and the worshipful - and you in your desire to retain every semblance of convenience and self-control are perfectly ill-suited to the endeavour.
The Iten–Kabarnet road is widely celebrated as one of the most breathtaking engineering marvels and scenic driving routes in Kenya. As it cuts through the heart of the Kerio Valley and scales the towering Elgeyo Escarpment, it offers travellers dramatic views and adrenaline-pumping switchbacks.

I think the wisest thing I can tell my daughter, is this:
Your body is not some infallible arbiter of moral rightness. It is your natural bias to mythologise your instincts and somatic responses into intuition. Your underlying presumption is that your body is never wrong. That what it communicates is special knowledge. That you should listen to it. That if it wasn’t true, you wouldn’t feel that way, so the fact that you do is evidence that it is.
This will be your undoing.
Trauma, fear and other forms of dysregulation embedded into the nervous system are not deeper forms of non-verbalised wisdom. They are threat responses. Sometimes, threat responses can be triggered by non-threats, because fear is tyrannical and overzealous. If fear is your dominant emotion or reason for acting, in almost all cases whatever it is telling you to do is wrong.
I am not saying you can never trust your body. I am saying that you should not trust it blindly. It is your obligation to know your body well enough to be able to tell the difference between transient hormonal influence, nervous system dysregulation, true lateral pattern recognition and intuition.
Calling all these things “intuition” is the lazy thing that the majority of otherwise fairly mediocre women do. Do not be like them. Do not be so easily misled and falsely self-mythologising. Audit yourself. And when you are able to conclude your body is lying to you, do not blindly obey her. Push through.
Now that the dust has settled, i think we need to have a serious discussion about what happened in Ol Kalou. Why did the government send hooded mercenaries to cause chaos yet it's not like the residents were causing any disruption
It looks like it is possible for a robbery with violence suspect to appear in Court to be judged by the owner of the gun he used to commit the crime. Lines are crossing in funny ways in our republic
5 Years ago, in July 2021,
USD 50,000 was allegedly found in Muchelule's office.
Muchelule was then arrested.
In 2026, his unlicensed firearm was found at a crime scene.
Is this a coincidence?
Why has he not been arrested and prosecuted?
Something is wrong somewhere.
Former Minister, Kipruto Arap Kirwa says William Ruto is irredeemably corrupt, he doesn't believe in systems and whenever an opportunity presents itself he's ready to loot. Kirwa has moved on to highlight some of the looted properties, daring William Ruto to take him to court if he thinks it's false allegations.
The main use case for being insane (in a high functioning way, as opposed to a crash out prone psychotic way) is immunity to demoralisation.
Things are stacked against you in such a way, that becoming cynical, hopeless and perpetually demoralised is a rational response to the conditions you are subjected to, because logically evaluating trends will repeatedly show you how improbable desirable outcomes are for you, and how futile many of your efforts will be.
This is why rationality, whilst useful as a tool in isolation, is a poor operational mode of being - followed to its ultimate conclusions, it can only ever lead you to cynicism and nihilism - it will rob you of both force of being and meaning, because it presents what is probable as what is inevitable.
It says, there's a 90% chance the thing you hate will occur, and only a 10% chance the thing you love will occur. If you are rational, you say to yourself a 90% chance of failure... that isn't going to work then, and by accepting the 90% as if it were 100%, you lose your 10% chance.
In accepting what is reasonable, you destroy what is desirable. Instead of saying "against all odds" - you have let the odds define things for you - which is the opposite of what you want to do, where you recognise the 10% chance as the only acceptable outcome, and obsess over it no matter how irrational it is, until your irrationality becomes its own force that shifts those probabilities more favourably.
This is why no conqueror is truly rational. They may employ logic to understand the structure of things, yes, but they are not obedient to it as a governing system which dictates their general orientation and approach to things. They do not enthrone reason as the master of their soul, because to do so would be to sterilise what drives them.
Rationality thus does not serve you here, but pure force of will, a love of beauty, and orienting your actions through the pursuit of the meaningful and transcendent does - and it is that which makes this form of insanity attractive - for it is coherent, generative and ultimately self-fulfilling. It doesn't have to pretend reality is something it's not, it simply doesn't accept the most immediate and obvious undesirable conclusions as inevitable and foregone.
This insanity is the refusal to despair because it is the refusal to obey entropy - it is a type of stubbornness that rather than yield to the world, bends it through nothing but sheer force of will.
It takes a very strong soul to be assertively optimistic, hopeful and positive in a culture full of people complaining, hating and doubting.
Believing you can conquer whatever you put your mind is to not a rational response to a society that repeatedly punishes your best efforts, rigs things against you, prices you out, doubts you, and is always telling you why you can't.
This is why you must become beautifully insane. Not in the "I am perpetually paranoid and imagine shit that isn't even real" sort of way, but in the "I'll take my chances on making the improbable beauty real" type of way. You will, as they say, shoot your fucking shot. Backwards. From the halfway line. And you will keep doing that and keep failing until eventually... it goes in.
