found this DIY ESP32 object scanner online and it looks like pure magic.

the creator claims this simple copper wire loop can instantly count the exact number of matchsticks inside a closed box, and even 4,000 individual grains of salt.

physically, a capacitive or inductive sensor can only measure total mass or dielectric changes. it cannot count thousands of tiny non-metallic crystals.

are there any hardware engineers here?
