San Japan is over, yet I still feel like the undead despite getting a full night's sleep.
Gonna make a few tweaks to my Felix the Cat cosplay here soon. Mainly add a bit of padding into bodysuit like I was originally planning on doing, to better achieve his body's silhouette.
Here's an ancient piece of fan art I did for The Great Mouse Detective nearly like 20 years ago. Back before people finally realized the strong "bitter exes" vibe Basil and Ratigan gave off, and when shipping them felt like being in the driest of deserts with no water.
I think going the more edgy and gritty direction is one of those times where it was actually a benefit for a character like Jak. As someone who has endlessly %100 the first game, Jak's not really much of a character in it even as far as silent protagonists go.
Jason Rubin (Naughty Dog co-founder):
"It was the right thing to do to continue Jak and Daxter but we wanted to adopt whatever parts of GTA we could into that audience."
"Sony had invented a huge amount into Jak and Daxter and wanted to continue that investment."
@BraviaGames Let's be real. Saying your idea of making a character "better" by vaguely saying to make them less "annoying" or "whiny" just means you want the character to be completely lobotomized. Just look at Amy. This is what Sonic X especially would have been if the fandom had its way.
@BraviaGames Now Bravia, you know all you'll get is people saying, "Nuh uh! This is different!" and then give their ideas of "fixing" Chris being just making him into a perfect OP power fantasy tank who never struggles, an emotionless drone, or make him into quirky chungus #908.

I vividly remember seeing/hearing the whole Circle 7 shitshow and the potential split between Pixar and Disney happen in real time, seeing what Toy Story 3 eventually became after all of that. It feels like a surreal trip down memory lane whenever material surfaces from Circle 7.
I will never shut up about the sketchy, textured look of 1960s Disney animation. There is so much warmth, soul in these rough, hand-drawn frames of The Sword in the Stone.
@SonicReisenfan I was planning on including Wade Whipple and AoSTH characters like Mama Robotnik. But I had to scale things back in order to finish this picture on time for the franchise's 35th anniversary. I'm thinking of eventually going back and adding in characters.
