This is dynamic currency conversion with the Whop checkout:
• Auto-detects your customer's local currency
• Lets them switch between their local currency and your base currency
• You still get paid in your base currency no matter what
Once enabled, this opens up a new world.
How to enable it:
Go to your checkout link settings, advanced options or add this line to your embed:
data-whop-checkout-adaptive-pricing="true"
In my example, amounts displayed outside the embed also update dynamically.
This ensures a zero friction experience for global customers.
@ColinMcDermott@iamthemoat I imagined there would be some whop magic with an easy pixel setup to track conversions, but never did I imagine a warmed pixel setup. this is wild 🥶
@yegormethod@whop the first list item at the top makes no sense. the rest with payment processing percentage fee at 2.5% (reduced) + the fixed fee of $0.30 makes sense. @dwilms can you look into this and check where the top line item fee is coming from
@siyabuilt @mattwelter seeing this more often nowadays. I think it's on the wording.
Some firms advertise with processing fee, some with total fees and now someone makes a list like this, without any pre defined assumptions on currency etc.
More transperency with examples wouldn't hurt some MoR's.
