"Made in China" is a Trojan Horse This was an economics strategy China itself sold to the world so they would get into the global market with a lot of potential on a moment that China needed to grow economically, they had the quality but it was not the intention to give that image at the time, it evolved into "whatever you can do, we also do but cheaper". Other countries stopped producing because they saved money with barely noticeable changes and located their resources there. China did not stop on that point and grew their industry beyond that moto to posicionate themselves on top and now they are the most important emergent economy in the world and can price accordingly their quality with barely or no competitors on most sectors. Other countries gave up their industries to rely on cheaper options and now they rule both on quality and possibilities!
