J. Pat Hickman, former chairman, president, and CEO of Happy State Bank, began his college career in the 1970s and has offered both financial and academic support for @TTURawlsCollege's Excellence in Banking program.

He recently finished his undergraduate degree and received his diploma this afternoon. Congratulations, Pat!

This past Friday, Institutional Advancement joined several members of the Red Raider family during the Student Activities Board's annual Arbor Day event. We are proud of these beautification initiatives across campus and appreciate our team for volunteering their time.

In February, the Texas Tech University System received a historic 6,000-acre land gift from the 3 Rivers Foundation for the Arts and Sciences and Dr. Fred Koch, M.D. This expansive property includes the Comanche Springs Astronomy Campus and is located near Crowell, Texas.

We recently celebrated the legacy of the late Kathryn Gilbreath at Buddy Holly Hall. Her husband, Jim Gilbreath, was presented with the resolution that named her honorary emeritus member of the Texas Tech Foundation.
