I do not want to cancel books
I do not want to judge people on things like looks
I do not want to limit speech
I do not want government overreach
I do not like this cancel sham
I do not like it, but here I am…

@LeahBSassy Not this Gen X-er, but I agree—WAY too many of them! There’s also a number of both of those gens who fought the culture war & lost the war raging against their marriage. Their kids—your generation—were casualties of 2 wars. One your parents didn’t even know they were also losing
The most deadly and un-American threat to this country and our freedom is this rampant and rabid cancel culture. We don’t give grace anymore, we rush to cut people off at the knees and ruin their lives all for some sick twisted 5 mins of satisfaction. It’s wrong & it has to stop.
You can see time and time again that politicians are not focused on ways for people to create more wealth and economic growth; they are only focused on attempting to redistributing what exists.
The Nevada GOP posted this today:
“Under subpoena, the DMV finally provided a list of green card holders and non citizens who had obtained driver’s licenses.
...We discovered that 6,260 non citizens were registered to vote and 3,987 non-citizens HAD VOTED.”
Whenever there is a “taking” at the hand of government there should be full and complete compensation. This lockdown is a taking. I support the restaurant owner’s resisting.
Numerous restaurant owners are defying California's order to close their doors, but they say it isn't because they don't think the virus is dangerous. It’s a matter of survival. https://t.co/FlDaLKHmrC
The number of people seeking unemployment benefits fell last week to 709,000, the fourth straight drop and a sign that the job market is slowly healing. https://t.co/UMeggrrfVE
