@tim_cook *giant screen in the middle of a huge city turns on with Tim Cook on it* “Greeting plebeians. I wanted to say we employ trans people. That is all” *only light in the smog is the screen and the people panic as it turns off yet again*
Anytime someone says, “Autism didn’t exist back in the day,” I tell them to look up hall of fame baseball player, Rube Waddell. Born in 1876, here is a short piece of his biography:
@miskatonicfox The primary problem with all these groups rn is that the modern right is obsessed with virtue signaling while also being lead by several competing and disagreeing ego maniacs who love to pretend they’re friends for the camera
@miskatonicfox@Yeenie_Mcbeenie I think the issue is that they aren’t as monolithic as they act. Lots of variation in the far right with no serious unifier. And most of their ideology is at odds with eachother. Ask a Christian nationalist even basic questions about theology and watch it fall apart
I told my dad that disabled people aren't accepted as immigrants to almost every country in the world.

I pointed at his wheel rollator, without which he can't walk.
actually made this before the election tho it seems slightly more relevant now after watching CA vote no on things like rent control and, like, Prohibiting Slavery
It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them.
While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change.
And they’re right.
