@AlteraDiabolis@DickWhitehouse They are also 3d. If you somehow move your character in Z axis you can avoid an incoming projectile. Snes keeps the trapezoid hitboxes, but simplified the hurtbox to rectangular for speed. It's still time consuming but trapezoid-on-trapezoid calculation is harder.
@DickWhitehouse I would like to see the hitbox for KI2 fulgore FP 4 hits laser ender. Something strange is happening there, it has different hitbox than single lasers
@JonTt Hello Jon. I have an idea for a new "coding secrets" episode (is Genesis faster than Snes, and how much?). I have some detailed tests if you're interested.
@FabricioMimoto@yamada_arthur He discovered it before me. He's possibly a coder in the game.
I will it was known earlier to save the time i spent to search.
@keitegaru Also it's very helpfull that there were lots of people that didn't help me. If i write a list, it will be huge.
I can remember only Ladida and Conn that helped, with 1-2 others.
@keitegaru There's nothing in the web but i don't care. Ultimate mortal kombat trilogy for gens emulator added sprites characters and fatalities 13 years ago. To learn assembly, using a debugger step by step helps. Bsnes plus is perfect.
@keitegaru There aren't sprite tools because sprite isn't a thing. Is 4bpp image with header and metadata. Each game works different. I created a gimp script for converting images to 4bpp with 8 subpalettes and some other autohotkey scripts for tilemap and sprite creation.
@keitegaru Yes, i'm the guy. Sorry for the late answer, i don't login to tweeter. I learn assembly myself, reading the available documents on the web. Before ki i did sf2 heavy damage hacks and before that i knew nothing about asm.
