The way I was doing it 20 years back on IRC was you could narrate an intent to hit someone, but weather the other character took the blow was for them to decide, making for a really fun back and forth - But I'm sure other methods exist.

@theWellRedMage @PSN_ElectricDC And if you don't like the 'stand in a line and take turns to attack' style of turn based combat? XCom, Fire Emblem, Triangle Strategy, & Disgaea. The combat takes longer in than style, sure (which usually means you do less 'random encounter' equivalents) but is far more strategic

@yeloson @xCheMoni A lot of balconies with nowhere near high enough safety rails, too - The glass aspect doesn't help matters, obviously, but that's about the height of safety barriers I've been anxious about tripping, etc, when around, even with brick on lower heights.

@ThetaSigma2017 I have no issue with returning Doctors coming back as guest stars, including Tennant, e.g. for anniversary specials.

I'm less enthused with the idea of returning Doctors as the lead, but an anniversary special without an established incumbent alleviates that concern a lot.

@OliyTC Tentamissile and Booyah Bomb could be done as a cinematic FS (but, like the Giant Beam stuff, they tend to be boring) - Booyah probably makes more sense in that context due to Tenta's range.

Tripple Inkstrike makes more sense as an item than a FS to me.

@OliyTC Big Bubbler if you combine it with Toxic Mist, maybe, but specifically for their older FS philosophy. Wouldn't work in Ultimate. Slow down and deal damage over time to anyone but you outside of it, you're immune to damage inside it. Kind of like Luigi's old FS?

@AlexanderBruyns @COctagons @RightWingCope And since they started putting retro tracks in, most Mario Karts have had two Rainbow Roads since the course is completely different each game, one in the regular cups and one for the classic courses cups.

(7's got my favourite of them)
