I already watch a LOT of cartoons and always have a particular one I come back to every day (Justice League being one of the last ones), but given I've been working on my morning routine and relieving myself of chronic stress, cartoons while eating breakfast were the way to go.
Eve's Bayou made me uncomfortable because while, yes, they're acting, a REAL grown man still did kiss a REAL young girl for the sake of telling a story.
Keep in mind that all of those "African" coffee books y'all be buying (usually of hair, body mods, and art) are photographed exactly by people like this who have zero respect for Black people and only engage us like exhibitions.

My photo of the day
In the middle of Ojude Oba, I noticed an elderly foreign woman with a camera, documenting our culture.
While many of us were living the moment, she was preserving it.
Sometimes it takes an outsider to remind us how extraordinary our own stories are
Whether you're running, walking, volunteering, sponsoring, or cheering from the sidelines, thank you for being part of this special day.
Let's make every step count!
