I was pleased to welcome @albaniandiplo today 2 Swedish politicians of Albanian origin 🇸🇪 🇦🇱

Adnan Dibrani is the first Albanian to have become a Swedish MP, and now is also a candidate for the European Parliament elections.

Arbër Gashi, is serving in local government in Sweden.

Adnan & Arbër, together with Arba Kokalari, serving as EU MP and Aida Birinxhiku, now currently the youngest member of the Swedish Parliament, are Albanian success stories in 🇸🇪

We are proud of our diaspora and encourage their political participation wherever they live.

On the International Women's Day, the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Greece, Mrs. @LHajdaraga attended the event “Women, Peace, and Security”, organized by the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the event, which was officially opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. George Gerapetritis, Greece’s first National Action Plan on “Women, Peace, and Security 2023-2028” was presented, aiming at strengthening international action for the consolidation of women's security in conflict zones, as well as their effective participation in peace processes.
