The spectacular almost black foliage with it luminescent green stripe down the centre makes this stunning begonia species stand out from a mile away. Begonia listada also known as the striped Brgonia, a species native to Brazil.

If you like plants with very dark to almost black foliage then hows this Begonia rex cultivar, it must be in top ten of black leaf plants. Begonia 'Etna', a cultivar bred by Antoon Hoefnagels of The Netherlands, with its pitch black foliage patterned with blood red windows
