@jnjames1@BookieBaz@geoffbanksbet Big difference between small on course businesses and the huge corporations that are straight out ripping off the punters
@EagleHuey@triplemfooty@BigBirdsBigGame Upside with Harley is infinite, I think we have already seen Butters at his best, don't get me wrong he's very very good
@RFC_Centre@triplemfooty Long time RFC member, I really don't like it unless Lalor is going to Tassie, we have a bunch of up and coming kids but still 2-3 years off finals, much rather bring in some mid level players so we can save salary cap space for the young contingent
@nathrobinson07 Love your work Nathan, I'm a small punter and I took your man Cook with as the anchor in a SGM for a nice little profit, very grateful for your hard work
@SilverTopHurls@SCWhisperer Yeah it's a tough one, I get the ethics side that's been mentioned, but some of the really big off shore sites like Stake are actually more reputable than some of the on shore operators who can make withdrawals really tough, but yeah lots to consider
@SilverTopHurls@SCWhisperer It's absolutely legal, many do it with Tab, Sportsbet etc, affiliate codes have been a thing for 15+ years. I guess if you are providing good content around sport/gambling then go for it and get an earn
@LukeKrahe@mleppard11 I think the most realistic thing to look at is 20-25 minutes out from the race on any event which has limited liquidity, back when we were working at Moonee Valley we would go up about 130, a bit more if betting Each Way, and normally best bet was about 110 or less
@AtThePicnics@LukeKrahe@jezzaseal@mleppard11 Back in the 80s on course were paying about 1.5% turnover tax on country racing in Vic, wages were low in comparison to turnover, probably around the 2% mark, stand fees and board hire were cheap, all up a small/medium bookies exes were about 7%, how does that compare to today?
@BetsniperAUS I don't particularly care, I've been involved in the industry for over 30 years, you are either somehow outsmarting there algo, or you are losing, gl to you either way 😁
