Shoutout to anyone who moves to another country to follow their dreams. Adapting to lang/env/cultural differences whilst studying/researching is not easy.

It can be difficult for those who have never done this to appreciate how big that is. It's incredibly impressive.

Becoming aware is not the same as when the root cause took place of course, so some delay is completely understandable.

A follow-up SMS indicated that the cause of the power cut was a fault in the underground cable network near the Klevinside Primary substation. [3/9]
