Justice Mwamuye:
The application of Sections 8, 9, 11, 43 of the Sexual Offences Act to adolescents engaging in consensual, non-coercive,non-exploitative sex is unconstitutional.
Big!
Children deserve protection and not being punished for consensual adolescent sex
Children need sleep. It is common sense.
Waking up your children at 4 am to go to school is ignorance.
Pre-teens (9 to 12 years old) should be asleep by 9 pm and wake up at 6 am.
Early schoolers (5 to 8 years old) should be asleep by 8 pm and wake up at 6 am.
Preschoolers (3 to 5 years old) should be asleep by 8 pm and wake up at 7 am.
Toddlers should sleep. They should not go to any school or day care.
Children must all take a 30-minute to 1-hour afternoon nap.
Sleep is necessary for brain development, hormonal health and mental hygiene.
We are raising human beings, not robots.
Fortunately I don't have any expectations of Karen Nyamu. I wouldn't even refer to her as a Senator. Unfortunately she keeps reminding me that even no expectation need a scale on lower standards. What a shame!!!
2/2 Legal practice has always evolved with technology, & resisting that progress only holds the system back. @Kenyajudiciary must embrace innovation & adapt to modern realities to enhance, not hinder, access to justice.
1/2 @Kenyajudiciary If one advocate relies on traditional books for drafting while another uses AI tools, who is truly at an advantage? Issue isn’t the tool, it’s how effectively it’s used.

The ruling by Chigiti J on AI generated pleadings occupies the highest pedestal of the most ridiculously reasoned decisions I have ever come across. What thought process allows a judge to suggest that AI generated pleadings allow a party an unfair advantage?
I have read Justice Chigiti's decision setting aside his own judgment just because a Kenyan (non-lawyer) used AI to draft the pleadings. Not because the pleadings are not legally compliant. But that the Kenyan acquired an advantage the Respondent do not have.
I am out of words.
